DESCRIPTION:	HOW TO APPLY NEW VEGA PASSWORDS

1.	Product passwords are maintained in the vegasoft.srclib member GEINSPW.

2.	Modify the lines for the selected products to REP AAAA NNNN,NNNN,
	where	AAAA is the address (DO NOT CHANGE THE ADDRESSES)
		NNNN,NNNN is the supplied password.

3.	If you add new products remember to change "*REP" to " REP".

4.	Ensure that the //SYSLIB of the PASSIDMS step also defined in IDMS startup job's //CDMSLIB.

5.	In order enable the new passwords execute GEINSPW and either:

	·	restart IDMS or

	execute the IDMS commands below:

	·	dcmt v pr *.mdb2ipw nc
	·	dcuf set dbname ' '
	·	op2load
	.	Sr2load (required for TCP/IP Listener or MQSeries Trigger Monitor users) 

6.	If you have problems in IDMS:

	Tape			Action

	V01101 (and earlier)	Send output of LOOK PROGRAM=MDB2IPW (from page 4 or from OFFSET 410).
	
	V10501 (and later)	See messages VG003045 and VG003046 in IDMS log for current password values.
